Meet Our TeamsThe Kettel Team
The Kettel Team offers clients superior marketing, planning, construction and transaction analysis. Cynthia Kettel
Cynthia specializes in working with discerning investors who expect advice and counsel in property acquisition, income analysis, finance packaging, construction and inspection recommendations. Cynthia has worked with builders developing plats, discriminating waterfront home buyers, first time home buyers and downtown office building developers. Her unique perspective on buying and selling real estate crystallized as she worked with new investors to build retirement incomes. Here are some of the comments found in "thank you letters" from her clients.
Prior to working in real estate, Cynthia was a director for four major international and national airlines, based in the United States and Europe. She was the first woman promoted to management at National Airlines in 1972 during the "I´m Cindy. Fly Me" advertising campaign. She directed ad budgets in excess of $80mm dollars and introduced two new airlines to the flying public, Altair Airlines in Philadelphia and Midway Airlines in Chicago.
Cynthia has owned her own multi-million dollar advertising agency and co-created a $26mm toy "Flying Fighters," sold to Hasbro as their top toy line in 1989. When she relocated to the Pacific Northwest, she published autographed sports lithographs and serigraphs featuring top drawer athletes: Joe Montana, Nolan Ryan, Ken Griffey Jr. and Sr., Fred Couples and Steve Largent. Her first real estate investments in the Olympia area were made with her good The common thread in her diverse career has been an uncanny ability to "read the market" to determine how best to position a property or concept, price it, promote it and sell it. Cynthia treats her clients objectives and properties with care and diligence. A fundamental goal in every transaction is to make the process stress-free and fun. David H. KettelOwner - Olympia Lighthouse LLC
David Kettel began his career selling real estate to support his schooling. He graduated with a degree from Washington State University in Veterinary Nutrition with minors in chemistry and physics. David spent twenty years working with animals until his desire to spend more time with his family conflicted with his corporation´s travel requirements in the ever-declining agricultural business. David determined to re-invent his life with his wife and children and began selling real estate with his wife, which was a return to a business he´d relied on to put himself through college. While studying the Thurston County market, David discovered a need for moderately priced custom construction and upscale remodels. He launched a new business that has successfully built custom homes, duplexes and commercial buildings in every price range from $50,000 - $650,000. David´s first duplexes in Tumwater set a record high for selling price and a record rental income for the investors who purchased the units. All three of his first duplexes were sold before construction was completed. David accepts a limited number of new projects each year to assure his own personal attention to detail applied to every aspect of a new project. The Lighthouse TeamRick Ashton
